The dish shown was a roasted potato,shallots,thyme/garlic combo.These ingediants are from our farm. The olive oil I tossed them with was brought over from Croatia,by my daughter and partner, from her partners family olive trees. There was also a bit of butter from Tillamook, which is farmer own, but comes from Oregon. All ingrediants tossed together in deep dish w/lid and baked at 375 ish degee. Stir a couple times before done. The pot luck was amazing and wildly fun. What beautiful dishes in the middle of winter from our neighbors. I highly recommmed anyone with any sence of community,desire of delicious food and value the quality of your food to attend this gathering. The cream on the pie was the people!!!!
The first of a planned monthly Pot Luck for people interested in eating locally grown and produced food was a smashing success. What an amazing group of people and the food was incredible. The gatherings will be at 7PM on the second Tuesday of every month at the Scandia Coffee House and Eatery in Stanwood, WA. Thank you to Natasha Clarke and Donna King for putting this together.
